Bill Laramore has a diverse work experience spanning over decades. Beginning in 2015, Bill served as the Vice President and Senior Consultant at CS2, Inc. where he focused on strategic alliances and partnerships. With a background of 28 years in the military and 12 years in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, he utilized this experience to advise and assist in building new alliances and partnerships.
Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Strategic and Homeland Defense at CAS from 2003-2015. In this role, he was responsible for identifying and implementing strategic partnerships and new business opportunities in the Western United States. His responsibilities also included project and workforce management, strategic alliances, analysis, forecasting, cost and schedule adherence, and auditing for 16 separate contracts.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Bill Laramore had an extensive career in the US Army. From 2002 to 2003, he served as the Director of Operations, managing and controlling the most secure and robust command center. Bill also held the position of Command Director from 2000 to 2002, where he was responsible for executing time-critical, Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and threat assessment. In addition, he served as the Chief of Long Range Strategic Plans from 1998 to 2000, providing policy planning advice for the Joint Staff/J5 and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Furthermore, Bill commanded the Patriot Brigade of the XVIII Airborne Corps as a Brigade Commander from 1996 to 1998, overseeing the training, maintenance, and leadership of a large group of active duty soldiers and USAR soldiers. Bill retired from the US Army as a Colonel in 2003 and entered the private sector, still supporting DoD efforts until he retired from that in 2015.
Bill Laramore graduated from Arkansas Polytechnic University in 1975 and received his graduate degree from Long Island University in 1983.
Bill is married to Cheryl Laramore and they have two sons and four grandchildren. They now enjoy spending time with family and friends at their Colorado property.
